EDUCATION FREEDOM FUND (EFF):

This private organization provides assistance to qualifying low-income parents via a lottery. Applications are available to Michigan residents.

Scholarship Programs:

The FACTS service determines eligibility for both Diocesan assistance (The Bishop’s Scholarship Fund) and St. Anthony of Padua Parish assistance (for parishioners only).

SCRIP:

This is a tuition reduction incentive program and is available to all families. Families purchase gift certificates and/or gift cards through the parish. The gift certificates and/or gift cards are used just like cash to purchase everyday items like food, clothing, and other essentials. Because SCRIP is purchased with cash up front, the participating retailers offer a substantial discount. The bulk of the discount--from two to fifteen percent or more--is returned to the family quarterly in the form of a tuition credit.
