  • BRING YOUR BLESSED PALM BRANCHES to church for us to burn and make the ashes for Ash Wednesday (Feb. 10).  We will burn the palms on Mardi Gras Tuesday (Feb. 9) at a 7:00 p.m. prayer service.  If you miss that, you can drop off palms on Ash Wednesday or the weekend after.

  • We are looking for your smiling faces to help us during Lent! Our parish theme for Lent is "You are the visible face of the invisible Father." We are called to look deeper and see the face of God in all. You can be that face of God! During Lent we would like to have greeters at all the Masses on the weekend.  We did this during Advent and it was a wonderful expression of hospitality and warmth.

Please consider being a part of this ministry for Lent.  You and your family simply arrive 15 minutes before Mass and offer a smile and hello to people coming into church.  That's it!  So simple, yet so powerful!  If you are interested, please email me at croberts@saparish.com or call at 453-8229, ext. 300.
