The Sacrament of Penance provides Catholics with an opportunity to confess our sins and our shortcomings and experience the forgiving graces of Our Lord, Jesus Christ. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Individual Sacrament of Penance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The individual Sacrament of Penance is held every Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.<\/strong> and every Saturday at 3:30 p.m.<\/strong> in the confessional near the chapel. If you are unable to attend the scheduled Sacrament of Penance and would like to make an appointment for another day, please contact the Parish Office by calling (616) 453-8229, ext. 100, or emailing\u00a0parishoffice@saparish.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First Reconciliation for Children<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

St. Anthony of Padua prepares children to celebrate the Sacrament of Penance during the 2nd grade. During this period, students from St. Anthony of Padua School<\/a> and students enrolled in our Religious Education Program<\/a> participate in several preparation sessions. Following the completion of these sessions, the children make their First Penance with Father Tony in November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
