During the weekend of October 17 and 18, the parish will host a Ministry Fair in the gathering space. This special weekend calls each of us to reflect on the ways we have been blessed and invites us to share our talents by taking the next step in the discipleship journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lord God, thank you for calling me to be a part of this church family. You have given me unique gifts and a desire to serve in this parish ministry. Please open the right doors and make your path clear. Grant me a humble heart, wisdom to know how I can best help, and the courage to step forward. May my work bring you glory and build up our community in love. Amen.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n This Ministry Fair will specifically focus on the weekend Mass ministries. Think and pray if you feel called to join any of the following ministries:<\/p>\n\n\n Altar servers have a front-row seat to the Mass and play an important role in assisting Fr. Tony with bringing it to life. While serving at the altar, they assist clergy during Mass with reverence and attentiveness to the action of the Mass. From carrying the cross and candles to preparing the altar, this role is active, meaningful, and rooted in something bigger than yourself. It\u2019s a great fit for those who want to step forward, grow in their faith, and be part of what makes the Mass come alive.<\/span><\/p>\n Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n Expectations:<\/strong><\/p>\n Time Commitment:<\/strong><\/p>\n Onboarding Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n CLOW leaders help children encounter Scripture in a meaningful and age-appropriate way. This role is a great fit for someone who loves working with children, desires to grow in their own faith, and enjoys storytelling, teaching, or leading discussions.<\/p>\n Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n Expectations:<\/strong><\/p>\n Time Commitment:<\/strong><\/p>\n Onboarding Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC) serve at a sacred moment in the Mass, helping to distribute the Body and Blood of Christ with reverence, care, and deep faith. This role is both humbling and powerful, offering a unique opportunity to be close to the Eucharist and to serve the community in a meaningful way. It\u2019s a powerful, visible role that shapes the tone of the liturgy and draws people in.
