Academic Support Specialist

St. Anthony of Padua School is seeking an Academic Support Specialist to serve students in preschool through 8th grade. This role involves providing direct academic support to students as well as consulting with teachers to promote student success. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate and possess the ability to plan and deliver lessons aligned with diocesan standards. While not required, a Special Education certification or experience working with exceptional learners is strongly preferred.

Key responsibilities

  • Providing targeted academic support to students across grade levels
  • Collaborating with teachers to develop strategies for student success
  • Coordinating 504 plans, accommodations, modifications, and support services
  • Leading the Student Success Team
