{"id":14570,"date":"2025-11-04T09:10:00","date_gmt":"2025-11-04T14:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saparish.com\/school\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=14570"},"modified":"2026-02-12T00:05:29","modified_gmt":"2026-02-12T05:05:29","slug":"office-manager","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/saparish.com\/school\/?post_type=job_listing&p=14570","title":{"rendered":"Office Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Reports to:<\/strong> Pastor<br \/>\n<strong>Status:<\/strong> Full-time | Exempt<\/p>\n<p>St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Community is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic individual to join our parish staff as a servant leader\u2014someone who is mission-driven, collaborative, and dedicated to serving our faith community.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Job responsibilities and duties include:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Financial &amp; Administrative Oversight:<\/strong> Ensures compliance with diocesan, legal, and parish financial procedures; manages payroll, invoices, banking, and donor records; oversees weekly collections, parish funds deposits, audits, vendor contracts, and major capital projects to ensure fiscal responsibility.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Human Resources Management:<\/strong> Partners with the pastor to develop and implement HR policies, job descriptions, evaluations, and training programs; maintains confidential personnel files and administers employee benefits in coordination with the Michigan Catholic Conference.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Operational &amp; Facilities Coordination:<\/strong> Oversees facilities maintenance, safety, and security procedures; collaborates with the facilities manager and vendors to ensure cost-effective operations and alignment with parish goals and diocesan standards.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Leadership &amp; Parish Collaboration:<\/strong> Supports the pastor, finance council, and school principal in goal setting, communications, and ministry coordination; oversees staff and volunteer operations; fosters a mission-driven, professional, and welcoming parish environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Qualifications:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>College undergraduate degree or equivalent required, with a major in business administration, accounting, or finance preferred<\/li>\n<li>Three to five years of experience in business or management with supervisory experience<\/li>\n<li>Catholic in good standing with a solid knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of the Catholic Church, its teachings, and culture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Work environment:<\/h4>\n<p>Monday &#8211; Friday with occasional nights and weekends, including Sundays.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>To Apply:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Please send a cover letter and resume to Rev.
