Students in kindergarten through 8th grade take the MAP computerized adaptive assessments three times each school year.&nbsp; This tool helps make it possible for our educators to gather detailed information to build curriculum and meet individual student needs, one child at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The benefits of NWEA MAPs are:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tests are administered in Reading, Math, Language Usage, and Science<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;MAPs are adaptable per student. This truly assists in diagnosing each student\u2019s achievement and ability levels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Detailed information regarding each student is available for staff and parents within 24 hours of testing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Individualized plans with target growth areas are identified.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MAPs allow for student, school, diocesan, and \u201cnorm group\u201d reporting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MAPs allow for comparison of scores to other standardized assessments, such as the PSAT and M-Step state assessments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MAPs provides an \u201cRIT to Reading Range Report\u201d for each student.
