Neither anguish, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or the sword.&#8221; Romans 8: 35<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Connection to St. Anthony:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parishioner<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Short Biography:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have been a member of the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic community for just over three years. I have taught in a variety of unique school settings, including a Montessori charter school, a public Montessori school, a private Montessori school and the University of Davenport. I believe deeply in the individual needs and paths of all learners and the inherent value of joyful learning experiences. My teaching toolkit is influenced by Montessori, Education Through Music, Froebel, Waldorf and other constructivist theories. I enjoy reading and research and have recently had an article published in an international education journal. I hold a Michigan State teacher\u2019s license, an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in Elementary Education, and my master\u2019s at Davenport University in Urban Education. I also have a Montessori certificate from the North American Montessori Centre in Vancouver. I currently hold a position as a teacher coach and lower elementary interventionist at Hope Academy of West Michigan and teach courses in Urban Education at Davenport University. I have a daughter, beautiful on the inside and out.
