The Catholic Church will celebrate World Mission Sunday on Oct. 18. In 2026, it marks its 100th anniversary, inviting all Catholics to participate in sharing the Gospel through prayer, sacrifice, and generosity.
The World Mission Sunday collection is a unique, global effort for the entire Church to provide for the support of more than 1,000 mission territories where the Church is young, struggling or persecuted. Through baptism, we are called to be part of the Church’s missionary efforts, through prayer, self-sacrifice, and support of missionary vocations through material aid.

Ways to give
- Give to World Mission Sunday during the second collection at weekend Mass on Oct. 17/18. If you receive tithing envelopes in the mail, you will find a World Mission Sunday envelope in your packet. Envelopes will also be available in the narthex and in the entryway near the chapel.
