In the week leading up to Easter Sunday, known as Holy Week, we celebrated many beautiful liturgies. From Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem, to his suffering and death on the cross, and his resurrection on Easter, we walked together through the most sacred season of the Church.
We wish to thank all who participated in our Holy Week liturgies, as well as the many individuals who gave of their time and talent in many ways to prepare the church for this sacred week.
Please also join us in congratulating our candidates and elect who were fully welcomed into the Catholic Church. At this year’s Easter Vigil, our parish welcomed 11 adults into full communion with the Church and two children who received the sacrament of baptism. They are among 3,700 Michiganders and 541 of the Diocese of Grand Rapids anticipated to have entered the Church this Easter.
