Holy Thursday marks the beginning of the Sacred Paschal Triduum. It is the anniversary of the Last Supper, when Christ instituted the Eucharist, the Sacrifice of the Mass, and the sacrament of the priesthood. The central observance of Holy Thursday is the ritual reenactment of the Last Supper at Mass. This event is celebrated at every Mass, as part of the Liturgy of the Eucharist, but it is specially commemorated on Holy Thursday.

Also, during the Mass on Holy Thursday, the establishment of the priesthood is reenacted with the priest washing the feet of several parishioners. Be sure to bring some bells to ring during the Gloria at the Holy Thursday Mass.

Following Holy Thursday Mass, we will process into the Gymnasium for Adoration. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will continue in the gymnasium until 9:30 PM.
