St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Community is pleased to announce that Katharine “Katie” Giglio has accepted the position of religious education coordinator. She will officially join the parish staff in mid-July.
Giglio brings a wealth of experience in Catholic ministry, faith formation, evangelization, and parish leadership. Throughout her career, she has directed religious education programs, coordinated sacramental preparation, led Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) formation, and served in diocesan ministry. Most recently, she served as director of religious education and safe environment coordinator for a four-parish cluster in the Diocese of Charleston, South Carolina.
Her passion for sharing the Catholic faith, developing strong formation programs, and accompanying families on their faith journey makes her an excellent addition to our parish leadership team. Katie’s extensive experience working with children, youth, adults, volunteers, and clergy will help strengthen and grow our faith formation efforts at St. Anthony of Padua.
During her first weeks, Katie will meet parishioners, families, volunteers, catechists, and ministry leaders as she becomes acquainted with our community and begins preparing for the upcoming faith formation year.
As we continue our mission of knowing, loving, and serving God as disciples of Christ, we are excited for the gifts, leadership, and vision Katie will bring to our parish community.
Please join us in welcoming Katie to St. Anthony of Padua Parish and keeping her in your prayers as she prepares for this new ministry among us. May God bless Katie and all those who participate in our faith formation programs as we continue to build a vibrant Catholic community together.
