Celebrating our patron saint, Anthony of Padua

We’ve all been there: frantically pacing the house, checking under couch cushions, and muttering a hurried prayer: “St. Anthony, St. Anthony, please look around; something is lost and needs to be found.”

More often than not, the missing keys or wallet turn up. But as we celebrate the feast of St. Anthony of Padua on June 13, our parish family has a beautiful opportunity to look past the popular tradition and discover the profound legacy of one of the Church’s most beloved saints.

St. Anthony was a powerful preacher, a Doctor of the Church, and is known as the patron saint of lost things – but his legacy is so much more than that. His deep love for Christ and care for the poor continue to inspire our parish today.

We invite you to watch this video about St. Anthony of Padua’s life and journey of faith.
