Advent by Candlelight on Sunday, Dec. 7

Advent by Candlelight is a wonderful opportunity for women to come together and focus their hearts on Christ as the Advent season prepares us for the celebration of Christmas. Please join us for this event on Sunday, Dec. 7, from 3-5 p.m. in the Saints Room.

We are blessed to welcome Guinevere “Guine” Wagner as this year’s Advent by Candlelight speaker. Guine is a lifelong Catholic and lover of Jesus. She holds a bachelor’s degree in catechetics and theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville and is progressing towards a master’s degree in sacred music.

Having served in various lay ministries for 20 years, she is now happily ensconced at the parish where her family has worshipped for five generations, serving as the music and Latin teacher at Resurrection School in Lansing, MI. She lives in a little hamlet outside of town with her beloved husband and loves to read, cook, travel, and contemplate the beauty of God in creation and human culture.
