The last day of school is always exciting – families are looking forward to summer, but it’s also a time to reflect on the school year and to celebrate many accomplishments and academic successes. Annually held after the last school Mass of the year, students, staff and families gathered for the move-up ceremony and academic awards on June 4, 2026.
Several accolades were awarded, including honor roll, national physical fitness awards, yearbook, STEM, house awards, spelling bee, athletics, St. Anthony awards, and more. We are so proud of the hard work and dedication of our St. Anthony students this year!
We also “moved up” one of our beloved St. Anthony staff members. Mrs. Lynne Babb, who most recently served as our media center specialist and child care support, is turning the page to her next chapter after 30 years of faithful service to our school. Whether it was teaching in the classroom, supporting administration, running the library, or working in child care, Mrs. Babb truly lived out our mission of engaging students in academic excellence while guiding them to live as a reflection of Jesus.

Mrs. Babb shares the following with our community:
“It is difficult to put into words what the past three decades have meant to me. When I first walked through these doors, I knew I was entering a school, but I quickly realized I had found a home. To teach in a Catholic school is a unique blessing; it has allowed me to not only educate minds but to nurture souls, sharing in the spiritual growth of generations of children.
As I reflect on my journey, my heart is incredibly full. I am deeply grateful for:
~ Our Students: You have been the joy of my career. Your curiosity, energy, and laughter have kept me young at heart. Seeing you grow in knowledge and faith—and now seeing many of you return as parents sending your own children here—has been the greatest reward of my life.
~ The Parents & Families: Thank you for entrusting me with your most precious gifts. Your unwavering support, partnerships, and shared commitment to Catholic education have made my job a true privilege.
~ My Colleagues & Administration: I have been blessed to work alongside educators who are not just coworkers, but a true community of faith. Thank you for your dedication, your laughs, and your prayers over the last 30 years. While I will miss the daily routines of school life, the ringing bells, and the morning prayers, I am excited for what lies ahead. I look forward to spending more time with my family, and traveling.
Please know that St. Anthony and this community will always hold a sacred place in my heart. Thank you for 30 years of unforgettable memories, shared faith, and profound love. May God continue to bless each of you and our wonderful school.”
