Welcome to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School
The early years of a child’s education are among the most formative, not just for building a framework for academic excellence, but for developing character, values, and beliefs. This includes understanding and celebrating what it means to be a Child of God. No textbook can do this. But parents, coupled with a child’s teachers and a positive, welcoming, and caring culture, can.
St. Anthony of Padua School has been perfecting this philosophy for more than 100 years. Our preschool through 8th-grade Catholic school is led by our outstanding pastor, Father Tony Pelak, and staffed by a truly exceptional Christian faculty. Together, we mix the best of old-school traditions and values with progressive teaching methods and learning tools so our students receive the finest education possible.
But it’s not just what we instill in the classrooms. Every encounter at St. Anthony of Padua becomes an opportunity for growth – including those in the lunchroom, church, playground, and gym. From Chromebooks to textbooks to devotions for loved ones during Morning Prayer and singing joyfully at our weekly school Mass – we are dedicated to ensuring that each student thrives spiritually, academically, and socially/emotionally.
Our students stand tall with numerous awards and honors, even scoring above the 75th percentile on the national MAP test. And when they graduate and move on to high school, our students are prepared to become compassionate, contributing citizens of our neighborhoods, communities, and world. Scores of alumni are now top doctors, attorneys, authors, scholars, and more. And we have an equally long list of graduates who have dedicated their lives to God as missionaries, deacons, sisters, and priests. We couldn’t be more proud.
We could go on and on, but know that the best way to learn about our school is to experience our offerings first-hand. Spend an hour, a day, or a week with us. Set a time to tour our school, talk to our staff, and meet some school parents and alumni. We think you’ll love what you discover.
God bless,
Jenny Pudelko, Principal
