St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School is seeking a dedicated Middle School Math Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. We are a mission-driven school committed to engaging students in academic excellence while guiding them to live as a reflection of Jesus.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will hold a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate and demonstrate the ability to design and implement effective math instruction aligned with the Diocese of Grand Rapids curriculum standards. This position includes teaching math to students in grades 6–8, with the opportunity to incorporate cross-curricular and faith-based connections throughout instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging math lessons that promote problem-solving, critical thinking, and academic growth.
- Use a variety of assessments and data to inform instruction and provide targeted support to meet diverse student needs.
- Collaborate with middle school team members and school leadership to support student learning and classroom success.
- Integrate Catholic values and Gospel teachings into the classroom environment and instructional practices to foster a deeper understanding of faith.
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students to foster a supportive and faith-filled learning community.
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate (Elementary or Secondary with Math endorsement preferred).
- Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
- Ability to create a structured, nurturing, and academically challenging classroom environment.
- Passion for middle school learners and differentiated instruction.
- Willingness to participate in faith-based formation and school life.
